COMFORT ZONE SOUNDTRACK (2024)
Compiled here are all the songs RainStereo has created for his website university project: Comfort Zone. Comfort zone was meant to be a website for students who struggled with loneliness and depression. One of the features of the website was a soundtrack you could listen to while exploring the site or just studying. This is that soundtrack. It's mainly comprised of remixes of prior works, due to time constraints.
Lost at Sea
The original was a song made by me and a friend. We never used it for anything, so I arranged a new version to fit with the style I was going for.
Ashley
This was originally just an old song I made to try a different style for a melody that I've had for a while. I eventually tweaked it to fit this project. Ashley refers to a character I made that used to be more prominent; Ashley T. It's called that because the melody was based on a song I made on guitar titled Ashley T. I never fullly made that song a thing, but this exists.
Cave Ambience
Originally a chiptune, but that was grating and had a terrible intro, so I shortened it and made it softer. I already had this non-chiptune version. I just fixed it up and trimmed it.
With Focus
A much chiller version of the DELIRIUM song "Infinite Alleyways." The title is a play on "With Haste", which is another DELIRIUM song. I have no idea why I did that. I must have confused the names.
Neverending Rain
This song originated here, and is the only composition made specifically for the project. It was originally going to be used in a trailer, but I ran out of time to make the trailer. I ended up repurposing this track for One Last Crusade later on.
Tot Ziens
"Tot Ziens" means something like "goodbye", or "see you later." The original was a song I wrote for my old band. I decided to make a comfort zone version and stick it here. It was a secret track only found on the credits page.
