HAPPY FUN SOUNDTRACK (2022-2024)

Compiled here are all the songs RainStereo has created for his web comic: Happy Fun. Yes, even the comic has music. I wanted to sell the vibe of places that appear in the comic, so I made a number of songs. These are some of my earliest public pieces of music. I was still learning my software at this point.

A Beautiful Day

A main theme or an ending theme. It's too messy for my liking now.

Derojor

The theme of Derojor village, introduced in issue 5. The emptiness of the theme conveys the quiet, lonely nature of Derojor. Fun fact: Derojor is just rojo red backwards. rojo is red in spanish. Derojor is situated in the red forest. Happy Fun names are very creative.

Long Road Ahead

The theme of traveling. It's main inspiration was the big hike up the mountain in issue 10.

Foolor (Sergor)

The theme of Foolor village, introduced in issue 10. Also the theme of Sergor. I was very inspired by a trip to the mountains of Peru, so the entire arc was basically an excuse to draw mountains, hot springs, and those kinds of clothes. the music was also an excuse to try making music with pan flutes.

Battle Against The Masked Girl

The theme for the battle against the masked girl in issues 11 and 12. It was meant to be overwhelming, different, and aggressive. The rest of the soundtrack doesn't have any electric guitars or harsh drums. I don't really like how chaotic this one is anymore, but I thought it was the coolest thing I made when I first composed it.
